1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Ground Dwellers Martial Arts Academy website located at grounddwellers.com and any related services, programs, classes, or facilities offered by Ground Dwellers Martial Arts Academy ("we," "us," or "the Academy"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our website or services.

2. Membership and Payment

2.1 Membership. Membership at Ground Dwellers Martial Arts Academy is subject to the terms agreed upon at the time of enrollment. Membership agreements are between the member (or the member's parent or legal guardian for minors) and the Academy.

2.2 Payment. Membership dues are billed according to the schedule agreed upon at enrollment. Payment is due on the date stated in the member's agreement. The Academy accepts payment methods disclosed at the time of enrollment.

2.3 Failed Payments. If a scheduled payment fails for any reason, the member will be notified and given a reasonable opportunity to update the payment method. The Academy reserves the right to suspend access to classes and services until past-due amounts are resolved. Repeated failed payments may result in membership termination.

2.4 Cancellation. Membership cancellation policies are described in each member's enrollment agreement. Members should refer to their signed agreement for specific cancellation terms.

3. Free Introductory Classes

Free introductory classes are offered at the discretion of the Academy. A free class is a single session and does not constitute a membership or imply any ongoing obligation on the part of the Academy or the prospective member.

4. Participation and Assumption of Risk

Martial arts training involves inherent physical risk. By participating in any class, program, or activity at the Academy, you acknowledge and accept these risks. All participants are required to sign a separate liability waiver before training.

5. Conduct and Etiquette

Members and guests are expected to conduct themselves respectfully toward instructors, staff, and fellow students. The Academy reserves the right to refuse service, suspend, or terminate membership for conduct that violates these expectations or creates an unsafe environment for others.

6. Intellectual Property

The content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and teaching materials developed by the Academy, is the property of Ground Dwellers Martial Arts Academy and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

7. Photography and Media

From time to time, the Academy may photograph or record classes, events, and training sessions for promotional or educational purposes. By participating in Academy activities, you grant the Academy permission to use your image or the image of your minor child for these purposes unless you submit a written opt-out request.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The website and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. The Academy makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the website or services. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Academy is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the website or services.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the use of the website or services shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas.

10. Changes to These Terms

The Academy may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The most current version will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the website or services after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
